Librarti
Clara von Zweigbergk, born in Stockholm in 1970, graduated from Beckmans College of Design in her city and continued her studies at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, usa. After five years as a founder and partner of Rivieran, a multi-disciplinary design studio with which she collaborated on several successful projects in the fields of fashion, illustration, architecture, furniture, publishing and graphics, she spent a year in Los Angeles and four years as senior graphic designer at Lissoni Associati in Milan. In 2006, she returned to Stockholm to set up her own design studio, cultivating a profound interest in paper, origami, colour, handcraft, form and typography. Her work has received international recognition and she has won a number of design awards. Her production is characterised by simplicity, balance and colour, and by the great care and taste with which she imbues everyday objects. Since 2010, von Zweigbergk has worked in close collaboration with hay, creating the brand’s visual identity, as well as a wide range of products.

Librarti is a Roman artisanal workshop where both antique and contemporary books are restored and bound, with additional work carried out on the conservation of artworks on paper and photographs.Serena Dominijanni obtained her qualification as a conservator-restorer at the Central Institute for the Restoration and Conservation of Archival and Library Heritage. She primarily focuses on conservation and restoration while her husband Michele Pernaci specialises in bookbinding, creating decorated bindings using traditional techniques such as hot gilding, movable type, and marbling. But that is not all: guided by the needs of their clients, books are often transformed into true design pieces, created for academy students and for a wide range of artistic contexts. The film industry, too, has benefited from their skill and creativity, through numerous projects involving the creation of archives and libraries… indistinguishable from the real thing.
