Decal Vases

A joint venture between designer and manufacturer has yielded a seductive, stirring yet playful collection of highly original vases inspired by the topic of memory. A collection of pieces made of glass which is blown, cut and polished to the highest possible shine, decorated with decals and gold luster, evoking the traditional decorative motifs of grandma’s living room and fairy tales of our childhood days, triggering emotions and memories. Each vase is original and stirs up stories of childhood days with a combination of playful happiness and melancholy. They give the feeling of something we have seen and loved as children, but are also something new and different. The brilliant, seductive colours bring to mind childhood games, taking us back to the joyful atmospheres of the little worlds that have since been lost, but remain alive in each and every one of us.
