With a dream-like approach that embraces memories of a time full of astonishment and wonder, Nichetto Studio has created this site-specific project with Lunardelli Venezia. A series of playful references such as playground slides, candy dispensers, classic American letterboxes and birdhouses have inspired this joyful piece overflowing with exceptional creative verve and skill. A highly original, colourful letterbox designed to be people-friendly, it invites us to post a letter, and to play with one of the knobs on the side which releases the envelopes into a central glass section. Just like candy dispensers, with a happy feeling of suspense, turning another handle drops the letters into the front opening. A colourful object which rolls fun and function into one, a creative divertissement made with skill, lavishing attention on the materials in every detail.
