ZIG ZAG FOLDING SCREEN
The screen is made of clay inlays modelled and hand painted by Maximilien Pellet. The assembly of the brass and brushed black steel structure is carried out by the Ezeka steel firm. The animal motif is seemingly engraved in the clay in one sweeping movement. The designer has fun recalling cave paintings of our origins on a domestic screen with a contemporary allure, and characteristic zigzag movement seems to evoke the movement made by a snake. An object with a powerful presence and ancestral appeal which seems to come from another dimension, part primitive art, part state-of-the-art technology. The screen is made of clay inlays modelled and hand painted by Maximilien Pellet.
